Can I install my own cabinet?
Yes, you may bring your own cabinet to the Profitability.net
floor. In certain situations, Profitability.net may require the
purchased of caged space if nonstandard cages are to be used.

Can I install my own UPS systems?
No. All power provided within the facility is already conditioned
and backed up by multiple UPS systems and diesel generators. In
the event of a fire, facility power may need to be shut off to prevent
risk of damage to your electronic equipment.

Can I provide my own PDU's or power strips?
Profitability.net will include one APC remote-reboot capable PDU per
power circuit ordered. You may plug anything you like into those,
but all power in your cabinet or caged space must be drawn from the
provided PDU's.

Could I install a standard phone line into my colocation space?
Yes, Profitability.net allows standard analog lines to be installed for data, monitoring, or voice applications.

How is bandwidth measured for colocated servers?
Client usage for colocated servers will be determined by Profitability.net using the 95th percentile measurement. Profitability.net will take samples of client bandwidth usage every five (5) minutes (i.e., 8,640 samples in a 30-day month). Profitability.net will then discard t...

I need roof access for a wireless antenna and cabling installed from the antenna to my colocation space. Is this possible?
Yes, Profitability.net allows the use of its rooftop space for antenna
access. Please contact your sales manager for details.

May I install my own data circuits, not using Profitability.net infrastructure or equipment?
Yes! You are welcome to bring in data circuits of any kind from
the provider of your choice. There may be one-time fees to
facilitate the installation of the circuits but there are typically no
recurrent fees from Profitability.net for outside circuits.

May I install my own lock on my cabinet or caged space?
No, due to fire and safety restrictions, Profitability.net requires access to all colocated items located within the datacenter.

My equipment needs to be installed by the manufacturer, will that be a problem?
Only authorized, badged personnel are permitted unescorted on the
datacenter floor. An authorized employee of your company must
escort and supervise any third-party technicians at all times. If

What type of cabling may I have installed to my cabinet or cage?
All standard data and voice cabling is permitted. (Twisted pair,
coaxial, and fiber.) Any additional cable types may be
pre-approved by contacting Profitability.net support.

Where can I view my bandwidth usage?
You can view your bandwidth usage statistics 24 hours a day by visiting http://rtg.profitability.net/rtg/portal
and logging in with your main account username and password. You
can generate graphs and 95%ile calculations for any time period in the
past six months.
