This article explains the setup of Outlook 2000 for use with our service. The exact sequence of windows may differ based on your previous configuration of Outlook (if any) but the information entered is the same. Begin by choosing "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu as shown below.

Click "Add" and select "Mail" from the submenu as shown here.

Enter your regular name as you wish it to appear on messages you send.

Enter your email address (using the domain your company registered.)

Enter "mail.profitability.net" for both servers as shown below.

Enter your username and domain as the "Account Name". This is usually the same as your email address but can differ, check with your network administrator if you aren't sure. The password is the same as the account was assigned at signup.

If you don't want to have to enter your password each time you check your mail, check the box to save it.

Select the option for a local area network if your computer is on an office network. If you connect via a modem choose the option to connect with a phone line.

Finish out the wizard and your account will be available immediately. (Click on "Send and Receive" button to check for mail waiting on the server.)
